Wojciech Hendryk Stawiński is a Wrocław-based composer, screenwriter and librettist. He creates musical worlds for theatre, live productions and multimedia projects, bringing together composition, programming, text and stage dramaturgy to guide a work from its first premise to its encounter with an audience.

Between 1988 and 1990, he wrote music for Zbigniew Rybczyński’s films SOLARES and KOŁO IKSJONA.

From 2000 to 2005, he collaborated with Natalia Grosiak within his La Foy project. During that period they recorded the album Kiss Me Everyday, pressed in a limited run of several hundred copies but never officially released. Stawiński composed the music and co-wrote the lyrics, while Grosiak contributed vocals, lyrics and vocal melodies. La Foy performed on the Main Stage at Creamfields Poland in 2003; the track If You Know was used on the festival's website.

Since 2007, he has composed for Iwona Loranc. Their collaboration has produced two albums: Forest North and Leśmian.

He wrote the libretto and co-composed the music for OPERAP: The Blind, a work that brings opera, rap and orchestra into one dramatic form. He is also the creator of HAMLET.EXE, a futuristic reimagining of Shakespeare’s tragedy set inside the KronOs system. His projects also include Hollywood in Dance, Club 27 Symphonically and Electra Beatsymphony — live worlds in which orchestra, electronics, dance and image become parts of a single narrative.

His experience as a composer, writer and producer has led him to treat music not as decoration, but as a narrative mechanism: one that summons characters, transforms space and opens passages into worlds that cannot yet be seen.
